Question 40X Power Gear Jack Leak

Hello all. Thanks for all the great information I've gotten from this forum. I have 2010 Discovery 40X with a power gear hydraulic jack system. Had an alarm at the controller, all lights flashing and audio alarm recently. I looked at the limited info that came with the MH and one of the troubleshooting tips suggested low fluid. Even though the reservior was down only ~1.5" I filled it and the alarm stopped. Then I went fluid hunting. I have 1 jack thats leaking along the shaft. The hydraulic line doesn't spin free but no sign of leak there. Has anyone rebuilt the seals in one of these? Its a hydraulic down/external spring up type. I believe 12K. Thanks in advance for any info.

Didn't rebuild any of mine in my '94 with Power gear...had it for 12 years up until '16. Because the large seal leak I inherited when I bought it was stopped fairly quickly with the addition of ATF Stop Leak. I used to get 1/2 cup into the landing pad every time, but after the stop leak it slowed to a trickle. And then I could go for a year without adding any fluid. Mine was also a hydraulic down, springs up type. It was a tripod style so I had one with the big leak along the shaft and nary a drip from the other two.

Now, as far as rebuilding goes, I've read several times over the years that people remove them and take them into hydraulic shops and have them rebuilt for as low as $50 each. Seems as though Power Gear used standard off the shelf seals and what not.
