I have read that the right side of the engine can overheat due to the blocking of the air, and because of that I have installed heat shield to those plug wires, but I have also read that a air scoop of deflector should also be installed to create a air flow to that side of the engine.

Can anyone provide me with more information, on how to create and then install this scoop? Or if it is really needed.

I guess it is a channel that will increases the air flow from the front of the motorhome to the right side of the Chevy 454 engine on the P-30 chassis.
