‘95 Bounder

On our Bounder, we flip the main batt disconnect switch to off so the steps stay out when parked( the step switch on the dash does not work), when do this if on shore or gen. are batteries getting charged? We leave the aux batt switch on.

Yes, the chassis battery will charge when the switch is off.

NO your chassis battery will not charge when you turn the main battery switch to off. Open your hood, take the cover off your BCC and look at the schematic on the inside of the cover.
I've had the MH in my signature for 19 years and am pretty well versed on the electrical.
Also, you have a step switch by the door that will turn off the steps so they stay out
when you close the door. If the system is as designed.
