Maybe try the headlight dash switch. Turn it the auxiliary position. Like to old dome lights in cars?

On my '97, those lights are spliced into circuit #5 that feeds the 12V lights in the stair well and the one over the side table behind the front passenger seat. Do any, or all, of those lights work?

Mine don't work either and I can't seem to access the inner parts without removing the TV and taking the cabinet apart. Is there another way to remove the covers? Chuck

In the period around 1999 Fleetwood used the dash light dimmer control to turn on the lights over the dash. The lights themselves also have a switch. You will have to make sure that both are turned on. Once you have them working, use the dimmer switch to turn them on and off.

On mine under the lift up dash there is a 12 volt fuse panel with relays. It has two relays with a spot for a third. I took one the the relays out and put it into the spot for the third relay. A year long misery solved. The map light worked. I swapped the relay back and every once in a while I think about buying a relay. Having not done so yet.
Owner manual says it fuse number 4 and relay number 2.

Wow, so simple. No wonder I couldn't figure it out. Many thanks. Chuck
