A/C Condenser

Need to locate condenser on 2003 American Tradition 40 ft, Spartan Chasis, does the condenser require cleaning?? Have searched around radiator and power plant area to avail.

The condenser is located under the coach, just behind the front axle. If you can safely get under coach, it's not to bad to get to.

Yes it could need some cleaning, but you having ac issue that makes you think that is the problem?

Thanks for the reply, reason was mechanic told me it was leaking and I had trouble believing it was under the chassis, but Debbie told me all Spartan Chasis have the condenser under the coach between the rails, guess I am too old and worked on too many autos where the condenser was located in front around the radiator area. Really showed my ignorance but live and learn.

Would have fooled me too. My 2004 Trad on a Freightliner modular chassis had the condensor on the side radiator pack at the rear left. The evaporator is up front, of course.

I'm having trouble imaging a condensor without a fan to draw air over it.

The condenser mounted behind axle has an electric fan.
