ABS Lamp On...

Bounder 34J 1999.

On a couple of trips the ABS lamp has come on, checked with a obd11 unit but no codes showing but can clear lamp. How can we find the problem, which wheel, connection, sensor ect to fix.

Is there a common problem on the F53 chassis ?.

Any Help Appreciated

Is it 4 wheel ABS or just rear ABS ? I would bet on a sensor at the wheel. Grab a flashlight and inspect the wires for any damage. Maybe try replacing one sensor at a time until it goes away.
Love the Cadillac coach in your sig... I posted a picture of it years ago on travco.com when we were discussing other makes of vintage motorhomes.

The last ABS light I had come on (and stay on) was caused by the break light switch behind the break peddle. I figured it out by checking the tail lights with the break peddle pressed down. (had to put a brick on it to do this) It ended up being a 18 dollar part that took a few minutes to replace behind the peddle. This was on a BMW car and not our RV, so take this as you wish

A regular code reader wont show ABS codes. You need a more advanced one. I use Forscan on a laptop.
This is a screen shot of my 4 ABS wheel sensors in live data being monitored while driving I took 2 weeks ago while troubleshooting my ABS light code. The blue line with the blips is my bad LF wheel sensor. When that 1st blip is detected (at about 5mph), the bottom yellow line is the ABS light status and shows the ABS light coming on. The rise and fall is just me speeding up and slowing down. MPH

Sorry about the sideways pic. No ideal why that does that at times

Nice work!
Wait... you can do all of that but not get the pics straight? I'm just messin with ya.
I resize my pics and save them again before attaching. They always come out correct after that.
