Ac panel mis-wired from factory

Hi all

I had the galley outlets lose power today and I could not understand why the breaker was not tripped. After some some trouble shooting I found the breaker labeled “ block heater “ was tripped yet the block heater was still with power.

After more looking I see that these 2 circuits were wired wrong and have the wrong size breaker.

I contacted Fleetwood and a man with a bad disposition said it out of warranty, nothing can be done.. I told him this was not a defect but an error in manufacturing and poised a safety issue. He admitted that it was wired wrong but they would do nothing to fix their mistake…

Piss poor customer service and is a liability for them if something were to happen I think.. anyone else have circuits 3 and 22 swapped on their Fleetwood (mine is a 2015 Excursion 35b)

Typical answer for Fleetwood to not fix their mistakes in manufacturing.
They installed my windows incorrectly (not per the manufacturers' written install instructions). A little bit after my warranty was up I found the window leaking. They said sorry your warranty is up and they did nothing about my leak and damage it caused. They said I should have found it while under warranty. I have a Sticky post about it in this forum about checking the windows.
Typical and expected for Fleetwood IMO. Sad.

6 almost 7 yr old rig would have no warranty. So, while you're disappointed I can see their point.

If it were a defective part I would too but this was a problem they created by improperly wiring the electrical system….

Hi Mark-

I understand both your concern and disappointment. I also understand REV's response (without the grumpy parts).

My suggestion is to correct the problem and be glad it's a cheap fix.

Should it have been right the first time? Yes. Should REV Group be notified of the defect? Yes. Will REV do anything? Nope.
