Adjusting the travel of windshield wipers on 2015 Discovery

I don't know if this has something to do with having my windshield replaced or not, but while driving yesterday I hit some rain and the driver's side windshield wiper does not seem to go as far as it should. It more or less stops pointing straight up. I would think it should go at least another 12 inches towards the edge of the windshield. I had to leant the right to see past where the wiper was clearing the rain.

When the wipers get to the bottom, they seem to stop in the correct place. Is there some sort of adjustment you can make to get the wipers to go further, like a limit/reversing switch?

I tried to adjust my wipers so they went further to the outside edge but then they PARKED too far up in my line of sight. Adjustment is behind facia accessible with generator pulled out.
The problem is they can not be adjusted to fix the problem. My solution was not easy. I removed the wiper arm and the entire assembly from the drivers side only. On the inside/behind the front facia is another flat metal bracket/arm. This arm connects to another arm that connects to the motor and gears. Easy removal with one large nut.
Anyways I cut 1/8" out of the flat metal bracket so the wiper arm swings further.
Weld or clamp the flat metal bracket back together and adjust as necessary. When adjusting, the windshield must be wet or when it rain as wind pressure also effects sweep.
Did not find any limit switches.

Thanks. Looking at a photo of before the windshield was replaced it looks like the guy set them too low in the stow positron. I think I can just unscrew the nut and readjust them

I just adjusted the wipers. Unbolted them and moved the stop position closer to further up. We'll see how that works.

Double check your mirrors too. My windshield wipers and mirrors were not put back in the same position when the windshield was replaced on our 2011 Discovery. Now have another chip in my windshield, hopefully they can repair and not replace it.
