Advice - 35' Excursion or Navigator (or neither)

My wife and I are newly retired and looking at RVs, we've narrowed the list (right now) to a Fleetwood Excursion 35B or the Holiday Rambler Navigator XE 35M (they seem very similar but the Excursion production may have stopped but it appears the Rambler appears to still be in production). Thought I'd throw the question out to this community - any suggestions; are there folks out there that are happy with theirs? Or, are there folks that would warn us away from these, if so, why?

We plan to winter in this in Fort Myers Fla.

Appreciate any feedback anyone can offer.

The Rev Group , which owns Fleetwood, fpurchased the rights to Holoday Rambler a few years back, so currently you are looking at a gmc/Chevy situation in the most recent year models.

We have a 2015 Excursion 35B bought new and have 33,000+ miles. Correct; the Excursion name badge is no longer being used, it is now under the Pace Arrow badge.

We've had a few issues with ours, most repaired under warranty, such as: shift modulator needed replaced, front air leveling valve twice, rear AC unit, thermostat, vacuum generator for the toilet, passenger seat lower window leak, etc. The latest is the movable section of the window in the bedroom fell off some where in northern Texas; I have the new window hoping to install it tomorrow. Also, after last trip, had to replace the steer tires, alignment issue (I kept thinking since taking ownership that I should have had it aligned, but never did - shame on me).

As far as the unit and floorplan, we like it a lot and I always think that if it had to be replaced, I would look for a similar unit.

Good luck with whatever you pick.
