In the process of hooking up Brakemaster unit on the toad and come to the part where I have to tie into the brake air system on the coach. The Brakemaster manual says to tie into the system on the air brake relay valve and has a picture but it is really not clear what or where this is located on the coach.

I have an inner ear problem that prevents me from laying on my back for any length of time and looking up (extreme vertigo). I can do this for short periods but not for the length of time to search everything under the coach.

If anyone has hooked up the air line for their toad on a '99 36T Discovery or similar, could you please give me some directions (front or rear, right or left) so I could find and hook up this system? Have completed the installation on the toad vehicle.

Posted this on the Discovery forum also and had a couple of replies trying to help but not the location. Thanks for any replies.

I suggest calling Fleetwood Customer service with the last four digits of your VIN...they've been very helpful for me in the past.

The relay valve is usually right above the brake pots and in the middle between frame rails.There are lines running down from it to the "service" ports on the brake pots on each side. Its about 3" in dia. and roughly same deep.
When I did ours on our previous '98 36T I just put a tee in line where it entered the " Service " port on the brake pot and run my 1/4" line back from there. Worked good for 12 years.
