Air dump
I have a 2008 Fleetwood Rev. LE. When I press the air dump button on the left side of the driver's console behind the aux. start button nothing happens. This happens when I park. Is this button not suppose to dump the air lowering the coach? When I hit the auto levelers I hear air leaking but it seems the coach is still high off the wheels when level. Any help would be great.

Do you have the operators manual for your Auto leveling system ?
Details of when/how, to use the dump button should be there.
Without the dump the ability of the leveling system is limited, because the coach is 3>4" higher at the start the cycle of leveling.

I would also be interested in more info on this feature, I have been hesitant about experimenting with it. I initially thought it was to dump my tag but.....????

It probably is your tag dump, especially if you have to hold it. Start your coach, have someone stand outside near the tag and hold the switch, you should hear an air dump. My tag dump is on the left of the steering wheel down low on the dash. But I have air and hyd leveling so mine may be different. To dump my system I have to hold the dump button on the valid control (same control panel to level). In conjunction with this I also have to hold the tag dump switch to release all air from the suspension.

I also have the hyd/air level. To what extent will the air level? It is only leveling the air bags while the hydraulic levels via jacks?

Not sure of your exact question, but yes the air levels the air bags and the hyd levels by putting the jacks down. we level on air about 90% of the time. It is not quite as stable as on jacks but it doesn't move much. If we are sitting for more than a week and on concrete I will put the jacks down, beyond that typically on air. I have only had a time or two that I could not get level on air, but I would have had a front corner off the ground on jacks to get level. I just moved a little and had a place I could level.

On my Rev that switch dumps my air bags and lowers coach. Same thing happens when I press "auto level". Is your parking brake engaged when you try? Maybe ignition needs to be on?

Figured it out. I have to press the manual button on the levelers and the it works. Air dumps when I press the auto button as well. Thanks to all the responded.

So you can only dump via leveling panel? Or the dump switch works only when leveling is in manual mode?
Chris

Chris that is correct. When you use the auto leveler, it dumps the air. When using the leveling system in manual mode you will need to dump the air using the air dump switch on the panel beside the driver's side chair.
