Air flow for radiator cooling

I have a 2009 Providence DP.I have purchased and mounted a 3 bike bike-rack onto the trailer hitch. The clearance from the radiator to the first bike is about 3 1/2 feet. Does anyone have an opinion about the possibility of affecting airflow and ultimately engine cooling ability while the bikes are on? I am taking the family on a long trip this summer that will involve climbing through Durango and Denver, CO. Thanks for any information. Joe

I think you will get enough air to the radiator. Have fun and keep the shiny side up!

I too believe you have plenty of clearance, and the bikes aren't a solid block surface anyway. Have fun on your trip, that is scenic country through there.

Thank you for the assurance. I wasn't sure and didn't think it would affect anything but felt another opinion would help.

Hey Joe,

You have a great DP so don't worry about the air flow, just have a blast on the road.
