Just called the REV service center in Alvarado, TX for some warranty work I needed done. Was informed they no longer will do warranty work. This is very disappointing since I live close by and this was the deciding factor in purchasing a Southwind over a Tiffin.

The whole setup down there was strange. Something in Texas state law that prohibited operating a service center unless you were a dealer or something like that. The REV Alvarado service center was actually operated by MHS next door.
Sometimes independent shops are able to work on warranty items. Pick up the phone, call a number of different shops, and ask a bunch of questions. Can't hurt anything.

I talked with Fleetwood and was told the only places to get warranty work are dealers who sell Fleetwoods. Really limits the options. Only dealer in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area is MHSRV. Anyway, I mainly posted to let others know that the South REV service center is no longer for warranty work.
