American Eagle 2022 passenger chair inop

Hi, all of the electronics on my passenger chair died today. Fortunately it's in a usable position, but won't be too comfortable long distance for my dear wife.

Checked under the chair, no visible loose wires. Tried to find the fuse, did find the fuse for the seat heater, but nothing else.

Any thoughts appreciated!

A quick check with a volt meter on the large red and black wire coming into the seat will determine if it’s a supply (fuse) problem or an issue in the seat.

Quite often, a wire gets pinched in the adjustment mechanism under a set. Check all wire routing carefully.
Also, if you have a panel of circuit breakers, check them.

I had that problem with a previous coach. When turning the seat around, it pinched a wire.

I had the same issue with the passenger seat in my coach... Whenever the foot rest was extended the breaker would trip in the seat. Like Alan mentioned it turned out that the way the wiring was routed, whenever the foot rest was extended (it uses a jack screw), it shorted out after the insulation on the wiring rubbed through...

While I have the Discovery coach and you have an American Coach, I'm sure they are pretty much wired the same way... Check your BCC (Battery Control Center), and inside there should be a small circuit breaker that has tripped. The seat heat and the foot rest mechanism are on two separate circuits... Ultimately, to find the root cause, you may have to remove the seat so that you trace the issue...
