Americus Tire, good or bad?

I'm at the dreaded point of having to buy new tires for my 32' 2005 fleetwood Southwind. I came across a descent price and some good feedback on the brand Americus. Was wondering if anyone had any experience or knowledge about this tire. Would appreciate any info.

Google says they're made in Thailand, for American roads, and it looks like they get a 3/5 star rating. Never heard of them, though...

Buy brand name tires with a good history. Your family's lives depend on them.

What size tire do you need? Often you can get a better known brand for not much more money, e.g. Sumitomo or Toyo or Yokohoma. All are internationally known and respected.

I'm guessing it's a 245/70R19.5 tire. Sailun is priced about the same as Americus and is a bit better known, but probably about the same quality. The Toyo M143 in that size runs around $300 each and its a highly respected brand. Uniroyal RS20 would work too.
