Another 40x question
I looked through the manual, I must not have the right one because I can't find this information also. I need to find out how to access the generator, in other words how to pull the generator out on its slide. I need to know how to release it, what to do?
Fleetwood Providence 40X
Thanks
Tom

Not sure if Fleetwood is consistent in their approach, but the release on our Discovery is underneath the front of the coach. There's a little latch that you pull down on, then release the catch, and the generator unit slides out.

Same here. If that doesn't work call FW.

Is there a location to attach a air hose, (with a coupler) if I need one?

Air coupler should be on the passenger side firewall, use the round key to unlock the two locks and open up. It pulls forward and down.

Thanks, I had tried to open that earlier to take a look, but it was hard to open, so I didn't force it, but I will try again. So far I am very pleased with the 40x, I wish it had a better satellite but I will add that later, and I wish it had a safe, but I guess I can put something together.,
Again thanks for everyone's help, I really appreciate it!

Should be like my Discovery;
round key into the black round locks and turn clockwise
pull out towards you and down
air coupler on the passenger firewall
BTW, the genie slide takes some umph.....

Our Discovery is as above, but it pulls out slightly and then goes up. They certainly could be different on different models/years.

Mine is as described above. Pull very hard to get it out. Ditto on air chuck.
