Aqua-Hot Running constant
Any suggestions for a 2020 Discovery LXE with Diesel Aqua-Hot that runs even if no heat set of hot water demand. Is it possible my u set belly heat is stuck on? Can I shut that off somehow? Rebooted my Vera Vega panel. Cycled my heat on and off in all zones. If I set aqua-hot diesel ON it just starts up and runs non stop

My opinion of running non-stop may be different than your opinion of non-stop. When you turn it ON to diesel, will it run for 24 hours? If it does, it will overheat and an overheat thermal switch should shut it off.
Possibly you expect it to heat up in a shorter time than it really takes, so it seems like running non-stop.
Check your basement thermostat to see that it is set at about 40*.
If it really does run non-stop, you need to get it serviced. Sounds like the normal 195* thermal shut-off switch isn't working.

After further inspection it did shutoff at 195. It then restarted at 165ish but no call for heat. Would you expect it to cycle even though there is no demand? I do not remember it doing this before but perhaps while camping we call for water often enough it stays up near 195 with short runs. I cannot find the basement thermostat but co formed the fans are not starting which tells me it isn’t calling for heat.

Definitely need more information on "runs nonstop". Are you saying if the diesel is on, it will cycle on and off throughout the day? Or you turn on the diesel and it runs, gets up to "temp" and never shuts off unless you turn off the burner switch. Can you provide more information on that side of the issue. If it never turns off, that is not good and needs to be check immediately. If it's cycling throughout the day, that is normal. If it gets up to temp and takes a long time to cycle off that is thermostat or controller on the webasto burner. That would also need to be checked. Reach out to your selling dealer or any NIRVC service department for further assistance.

It will cycle if it's on. Silently, on electric only, not silently if the burner is turned on. How often depends on how cold it is in the bay where the AH is located. Ours will cycle every hour or two most of the time if we forget to turn it off after showering.

Thanks Bobby. I think this is user error. Have not had it one much when we were not actively using the coach. I witnessed it cycle twice shutting down at 195. My perception was it was running non stop but perhaps just coincidence that it was running when I walked by multiple times today. Will keep my eye on it and spot check that the high temp is working properly. The unit is reporting status OK and no faults on the panel so probably good. Sorry for the trouble, appreciate the advice and education as always. Wish us luck. If we pull this trip off it will be the first ever without a major engine, generator or body air bags failure!
