Are these necessary?
I am starting a remodel project on our Revolution and found these diagonal braces on the right side of both couches.
They are plastic so can’t imagine the are holding the slide up but would like to remove if they are not necessary.

Hard to believe they would spend ANY money on something that wasn't necessary .

They are not holding the slide up , they're there to keep the slide floor square to the wall .
The angle brace and 10 or 12 screws all that hold the two together.

Don't see any 'sidewall' on that slide so YES those brackets are necessary to hold floor/backwall together

Guess I will leave them in place. Here is the double recliner going into that space. Have a matching sleeper sofa going into the other slide. Carpet and tile coming out so we can install vinyl plank flooring.

My 2004 Tradition 40V had that as well and it was not clear what it was supposed to achieve. Perhaps a wall stiffener or perhaps to help hold the kitchen cabinets in place. They remained covered after we remodeled, so I left it in place.

I’d love to watch your build as well. We thought hard about putting recliners like those in our coach but was concerned we wouldn’t have enough room to use them as a recliner. Please post pics as you go?

We are going with a glue in place vinyl plank by Rapture Plank. My only concern is the height of the flooring if I decide to put Luan down and the driver side slide. My overall thickness will be 5/16” which won’t be a problem on the passenger side as it clears the tile which is already installed on luan. The driver slide seems to have much less clearance coming in and has bunched the carpet to the middle by dragging across it.

Why a glue down vs floating?

Any update to this project? How difficult was the carpet to replace on the slide? How does the room feel with the new couch opposite the recliners? Do you feel the loss of Window area is worth the new chairs? (Height of new versus height of old chairs)

We have no regrets. I did not replace the carpet on the slides as it is in like new condition. Both couches have been replaced with Recpro theater seats on the passenger side and pull out sofa on the drivers side. I put a 43” TV on a lift behind the sleeper sofa so we have perfect viewing angle from the two recliners.
The flooring was by far the biggest challenge. Carpet came up with little to no effort but my tile was glued to 1/4 luan which was stapled and glued to the subfloor. It took a couple weeks for the demo which left the subfloor in rough shape. We ended up putting down luan under laminate and a glue down vinyl plank because of slide issues.
