I installed a pyrometer several years ago and mounted it below my dash. I didn’t like where it was mounted however, as I had to take my eyes off the road to check it...not real safe.
My RV did not come from the factory with an outside air temp gauge, so I shopped around for one. Wanting both gauges to be easily viewed while driving, I bought a plastic gauge pod on Amazon for $7. I searched for a pod that would fit into the small flat surface between the driver’s side window and the windshield, but I couldn’t find a pod that small, so I bought the smallest one I could find. I considered trimming down the pod’s edges to make it fit flush, but mounting the leading edge of the pod over the wall trim shown in the below photo, actually angled it more towards the driver’s seat, making it easier to see. It’s not a perfect-factory fit, but it will do.
