Question Awning Pulled Loose

Last time I had my awning out I noticed one side by the end had pulled
out of the rivet. Can I just run a lag screw or screw to pull back in?
What kind of framing is behind this? Metal? Its on a 1994 Southwind

We ran into this many times at our dealership. First try the lag screw. Make sure you use a short one that will not go through the wall. If you can’t get the screw to hold, next but less desirable is to drill a hole all the way through the wall. Find a bolt that is just long enough to go through the wall and install dome nuts inside.
You can paint the nuts the color of the wall and they will not be very visable.

Well this is what I tried, seems to work. Gona drill out 3 or 4 rivets and run few more to hold better then put some sealant on and around them....
