Back up camera

Has anyone replaced the stock backup camera with a better quality one. We have a 2017 Storm 36D and the angle of the camera is, well, not as good as it could be.

When you make the decision, call these guys, they're absolutely great to work with.

[QUOTE=Papabee49;4631531...the angle of the camera is, well, not as good as it could be.[/QUOTE]

If it is the vertical camera angle that is off (too low or too high) that is usually easily adjusted with an allen wrench.

I had to adjust mine. ALL I could see was the front of my car

If the picture quality is bad, that is usually more expensive.

No the picture quality is OK, it is just that the lens angle lis to narrow. I can see about 15-18 feet straight back, which is great for viewing our trike trailer while towing. However, when backing up I would also like to see a bit of a wider angle and catch what is on the sides. I am still looking and would prefer to just replace the original camera and not have to go the wireless route and add a second camera. Thanks for your reply. Safe travels.

I also was thinking of using 2 cameras, 1 pointed down, 1 pointed back, and combining them in a split screen fashion. I noticed one of the companies sells a dual camera that might work.

Thanks SavnTheWales, I could do that or just get a new wireless system I will have to just keep looking. I was hoping to just remove the OEM camera and put a newer one in its place.
