BARGMAN Lock Failure - HELP

HELP – My Bargman made lock doesn’t work. It will not lock/unlock with the key but will lock with the pull rod. An unforgiving situation if you lock it from the inside and need to get into the unit from the outside. I’ve searched the internet, tried locksmiths, called Fleetwood (a $600 solution) without an acceptable solution.

Looking for anyone that has a solution for the same issue. Lock is a paddle lock, approximately 5 ¾” by 5”. Lock # is 10-30-051.

Have you tried adding some graphite into the key slot to see if the lock will work free? When we first got our 99 Pace Arrow the locks on the doors were kinda stiff but with using the mh the locks work like they should - just a thought. I have seen these on Amazon.

Ok so the key doesn't work the lock/unlock. Can you turn the key? If so sounds like the key cylinder linkage to the locking mechanism has failed or came off. Have you taken out the door lock assembly and looked at it? Should be held together with 3 or 4 screws inside the door frame.

If you can not turn the key have you tried another key? Could be the key cuts and groves are worn out.
