Batteries charging themselves

I have 10 golf cart batteries charged by 3 large panels (630 watts) and when the Magnum inverter is switched on the onboard converter/charger sees the input is hot and tries to charge the bats, trying to think of an easy fix such as a solenoid wired in that connects only when actually connected to shore power or genny. Me thinks it may need to be a manual switch as I cannot figure out how to make it work automatically.

My converter / charger does the same as my inverter is setup for whole house power by simply plugging the shore cable into the inverter. A wireless on/off switch is inserted in the power cord to the converter to disable it when not needed. Not needed is most all the time, as I just let the solar controller handle all the charging.

Maybe flip off the breaker switch for the converter. Kind of weird to have inverter supplying power to a converter, waste of energy. Make me think its wired wrong, or it needs a power transfer box.

I may just disconnect the converter/charger as I really don't need it. I can run off the bats all the time and just let the Magnum unit charge them when on shore power and the Blue sky system the rest of the time when parked.

When they installed the Inverter in my coach (Which is also a charger) they disconnected the converter Damon installed. Your Magnum is not properly installed.
Proper install
Main panel----Several loads including Converter, Air Conditioners, Water heater and.... The Magnum inverter's 120 volt in line.

Inverter----Sub panel---Inverter powered loads and outlets

Alternate if your Magnum is not an inline model

Main box--As above but now to a Antomatic or manual transfer switch

Inverter to same switch (other input)

Switch---Sub panel and loads as above.
