Battery charging!

I hav recently bought a Fleetwood Discovery 2004. It has a Xantrex 458 charger/inverter with a remote control. My question concerns the set up of the battery amphours. My house batteries are 4 type Trojan with a total of 440 ah and the chassis battery are 2 12volt with a total of app 180 ah.Should i set the ahrs to 600 or should i ignore the chassis batteries and set it to app 400ahrs. Both battery banks is charged simoultanesly on shore power and generator. I`m sure someone out there has the same configuration.

As said, ignore the chassis batteries.

The chassis batteries are not discharged while dry camping and using the inverter, so they don't really figure in the capacity calculation for recharging.
