Battery diagram

We have a 2006 Fleetwood Providence. Had new house batteries put in Sept 2014. Now they are dead. How can I get a diagram of how they are hooked up. Just wanting to make sure they did it right.

Thank You

Did you check voltage at the batteries? Fully charged, batteries should read 12.7 v. If your converter/charger is plugged in to shore power, you should read voltage over 13.5 v to charge them. If your converter/charger has a temperature sensor on the battery, if that was not hooked up it might cause charging problems. Finally, all battery and ground connections should be removed, cleaned, and reconnected.

Since September almost TWO years, has the RV been plugged in to shore power, battery electrolyte checked, etc? Did the RV get used since the new battery installation?

with everything Bob just stated.

Here is a General diagram showing the main cabling for four 6 volt batteries I got off the net. There will be other wires connected as Bob stated.

Fleetwood was nice enough to put a diagram sticker on my bay door. You might try labeling the wires and take several pictures.

This site has both 6v and 12v wiring diagrams, along with explanations.
