battery disconnect solenoid

I have a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion model 39S. Does anyone know where the battery disconnect solinoids are located and how to get a wiring diagram of the rv.

Most of the time they put disconnects close to battery bank so they don’t have to run heavy gauge wire long distance.

If it's working have a helper click it on and off and listen for it.

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion 39S and my "Main" and "Auxillary" disconnects are located in the BCC box (Battery Control Center). The BCC is located to the left of my Xantrex Inverter/Converter mounted on the bulkhead. Once you take the cover off (make sure all power is disconnected, along with the batteries) you will see a circuit board with a ton of fuses and wires. You have to disconnect all of the wires (take lots of pictures) and then remove the circuit board (it has a few screws holding it on). The two "relays" are directly behind the board. My "Aux" relay failed in the open position, meaning it wouldn't stay "closed" and my house batteries were always disconnected. I made a small block of wood to wedge into the relay holding the contacts permanently closed and then installed a physical disconnect to the house batteries.

Let me know if you can't find it and I'll send pictures.

Randy

I contacted Fleetwood and was sent PDF diagrams by Email.
Contact customer support and just ask. It was free when I did it.

I tried and made contact with them last year when I got my rig. They told me that the business changed hands and they no longer support the older models and have no idea! Looks like I need to contact them again, might have spoken to the wrong person! Thanks!

If you think it might help I can send you what I have. It would be on my '07 Providence 39V. Just PM me with your email and I'll dig it/them up.

Our 2011 uses RV Custom Products Battery Control Center box. You should have a part# label on your box that you can use to get some info on the relays/wiring
