Battery Question for 2006 Providence

We are cleaning the posts on our main batteries, and when connected back up, we have 1 wire we are not sure which post it goes on...positive or negative.* It's labeled "Trailer Batt Charge".* This is a red wire that has in line 30 amp fuse.* Does this wire go on the positive side of the battery?*Here are the specs you might need on our motorhome:

Thanks in advance!

RV Electric Systems

See this post. The OP's problem may be similar to yours:

https://www.irv2.com/forums/f54/need...ml#post5767521

Post pictures. Connecting to the wrong battery post can cause things to not work, trip circuit breakers, blow fuses, or damage equipment. Blind advice is risky.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!

Red means hot, inline fuse means hot.

I have been a mechanic for 65 years. I have never seen a fuse on the ground wire. Positive wire.
