Battery straps?
2000 Pace Arrow Vision 36Z
I'm sure that the batteries are supposed to be tied down with some sort of straps. Neither the chassis or house batteries are. They must just bounce around as we go down the road.
Can anyone send me a photo of the chassis & house battery fixings. I assume I can get a Ford item for the chassis, but I'dlike to see what I'm looking for.
Thanks
David

Are those hold down clamps plastic or metal? I've had plastic hold-down clamps break on me.

Re the battery straps...
I decided to skip the strap kits that have plastic anchors until I found these: <https://www.amazon.com/Amarine-made-Stainless-Bimini-Footmans-Corvette/dp/B07B8BZ97R>.
I was researching tiedown straps since I need a set to tie down a pair of Trojan T-105s for the house battery plus a single group 27 chassis battery. However I need to have a whole new tray welded up and installed first... the existing one is so rusted out you can see asphalt through the swiss cheese rust.. If there was a way to post a photo I would have.
Harbor Freight has a set of four cargo straps with metal ratchet clamps.
Depending on what part number you chose to buy they can be 2 inches wide, 1.5 inches wide or 1 inch wide.
The 2 inch ones are about $15 each, the 1 inch are $10 for a set of four.
The straps are long but can be shortened... then a flame applied to the nylon to melt the ends and thereby prevent fraying.
The 2 inch ones are either 20 or 27 feet... the 1 inch ones are 14-15 feet.
No matter what you do you will have a lot of strap left over.
In my case I'm just going to include (for each battery) in the the replacement battery tray design either the stainless steel tiedowns mentioned above or a pair of heavy eye bolts. And if i use the eye bolts I'll make sure the eyes are welded, not just bent into a loop.
