Just a question here, you state that the chassis batteries are not being charged when plugged in.
Normally they don't get charged except by alternator when the engine is running. Tha'ts why lots of folks have trickle chargers fir the chassis batteries.

In the opening post the OP said,
" My problem is that up until recently, my Magnum1212 invertor would keep coach and house batteries charged with no problem. Now only the house batteries are charging. The coach battery will charge with the alternator. "
Why would you suggest that it never did ?
Many MHs have bi-directional charging.

That is exactly where I located mine. Getting the door off was nearly as hard as changing the solenoid. The door should have come off like a champ, but no, the bottom poped right open and the top tried to be a pure pain. Anyway, things seem to be working properly now . Thanks to all that helped.

OK, what did you do to correct the problem?

Apparently the battery isolator solenoid was working intermittenly. Sometimes it worked correctly and sometimes not. Changed out this solenoid, checked and cleaned all connections, grounds, wires, and the invertor. So far things are working smoothly. If this does not correct problem for the long term, I will let you know. Thanks to all that replied.

John, thanks for the reply, I was wondering if just removing the door made it work, or what happened.
