BCC circuit board CB 115

Fuse 19 on my 2004 Pace Arrow 37C battery control center circuit board CB 115 blows. With Old Bounder's advice, I tried pulling plug P2 and then reinserting fuse 19. It still blows, indicating a problem on the circuit board. I have an electronics friend who may be able to locate and repair the circuit board problem. My question is: What will happen if I take the circuit board out for repair? My coach batteries are staying charged with shore power here in the campground and everything in the coach seems to be working OK. Will that change if I pull the circuit board for repair? Otherwise, I may be forced to buy a new circuit board - suggestions?

Ted, there are several things that will not operate if you take the circuit board out. Among them would be your steps, propane detector, levelers, house battery charging from engine alternator, chassis battery charging from shore power and possibly the slides.

Depending on how your disconnect solenoids default (either ON or OFF) you may not even have ignition voltage.

Re: Battery Control Center Fuse 19

Old Bounder, we could live without all of those things for a week or two. I'm assuming my steps would stay out without the bcc board, and I won't need the ignition live for that time. Unless you can think of a reason not to, I think I'll pull the circuit board if my electronics friend will work on it. Thanks for your prompt response.

Go for it, and we wish you the best of luck. You do have the diagrams for the board, right? Here they are again.
