Barry - My experience is that service goes first to the guy who is buying one now. Next - the guy on the road with an emergency repair need. Then scheduled appointments - warranty or otherwise. Waking in with a coach because you bought it there isn't going to move you in front of anyone. But this observation - I bought new once many years ago - got great service at closer authorized dealer than where I bought it. Won't buy new again for warranty service or any other reason. But that's neither here nor there. I do love my '08 Bounder DP. Too bad they don't make em any more. I would buy another new one just like it when it got to be 4 or 5 years old and was in right condition, TLC etc.

I would recommend General RV in Huntley IL. about a half hour west of Chicago. Dave in sales is a knowledgable guy and easy to deal with. Great price too. There follow up after the sale has been good as well. Very small punch list after the sale. There service department has been very accommodating and have handled a couple minor warranty issues on our new bounder extremely quick. I showed up for my appointment and they said if you have a little time you can wait for it. I barely got done browsing their parts department and the coach was ready.
