Black water flush
This is a basic question. We have a 2005 Revolution. What kind of adapter do we need so that our hose will attach to the rv connection enabling us to flush the black tank? I know it's a simple thing but don't want to get the wrong adapter at hardware store.

A standard garden hose should screw into the black tank flush connector.

Why not? Too big, too small, male to male, etc. What seems to be the problem. Mine is the standard female connection on the coach, for the male end of a garden hose, and I'm feeling most are.

Yes, I remember looking at mine the other day on the Eagle, the San T flush has a female disconnect fitting of some kind on mine also. Did not have time to look through the box of stuff the dealer gave me to see if there was a male end to attach to the garden hose.

My Rev has a male end sticking out of the black tank, so it needs a female end on the hose..like the picture posted above.

It's a female to female fitting without an adapter.......so not standard I guess. Anyhow, we were able to get an adapter that fits onto the rv connection site. Thank you all for your help!

That is a great idea! This whole process started with us when we started getting a relenting and really bad urine odor in the bathroom. At first, we seriously thought it was our 5 y/o son missing the toilet. We scrubbed toilet, floors, and walls....and made him sit down to pee!! He now proudly reports that he sat down when he comes out of the BR! But......it turned out, it wasn't that. Talk about guilt for wrongly blaming him!! So, thorough flushing and sanitizing both tanks started. We will be getting this basket. How often do you put the tablets in?
