Black water level sensors-2014 Storm

The black water level sensor constantly shows 1 light. Will a cleaner like Happy Camper Extreme or Caravan solve this or should i be looking for another problem? How effective are ice cubes? Will the sensors be damaged?

My Winnebago had that problem with the gray tank. I was never able to get that first light to turn off. I donít have the coach anymore - I also have a Storm - but Iíd love to learn what works if you ever get it fixed. Good luck.

I found the problem. When replacing the water pump, I had disconnected the sensors and did not remember doing so. I mated up the connector and the sensors are working. Thanks for replying

Regarding your original question. It's a good idea to empty the holding tanks, add a good amount of liquid tank cleaner full with water and let it sit 24 hours. Then flush the tank a few times. This will loosen up the crud that sticks to the side of the tank where the EXTERNAL sensors are located. See drawing. Most coaches use external sensors so you can not harm the sensors or the poly tanks.
