Both 120v outlets in slideout no longer working. 08 Fiesta

The two outlets in the living room slide stopped working the other day. All circuit breakers are on, all other outlets in the rig work as they should.

My thoughts are,. Open circuit in the cheapo RV outlet, bad breaker, hidden GFCI for those outlets only, or, of course COVID or the government.

What say you, oh sages of all things Fleetwood?

Sounds like GFI plug breaker has to be reset or bad on load side.

I think you're on to something there with COVID!!

Have you pulled the plugs out to see if there are any loose wires? I'm guessing the pair are wired in parallel and if the incoming wire on the "first" plug has worked itself off the terminal you would lose power to both???

That's all I can think of.....

I ran into this issue with my Tiffin last trip out. Checked GFCI's, CB's, etc with no luck. Ended up being an electrical cord in the bay ceiling had worked it's way loose. Not sure how Fleetwood power is setup. Really weird how Tiffin did mine though.

The load side of my GFI outlet in bathroom feeds the 2 plugs close to the kitchen.
I got the vax and was better in 4 days.
Yes I am on something, its called a save a life, it could be yours.

Hey all:
I have a 2008 38F and had an issue with the outlet right below the dinette. There is another outlet on that slide above the couch. i got all schematics from Fleetwood and tried my best to apply their somewhat generic schematics to my coach. They showed both outlets having their wires go to a junction box located somewhere on the forward end of the slide. I ultimately found that junction box when I took the couch and dinette out to replace the carpeting on the slide. Sure enough the feed into that box that fed the outlet under the dinette was deader than a nit. I traced to all the junction boxes on the aft starboard side of the RV which were all under the bed assembly. I checked EVERY in and out of EVERY wire coming in and out of every junction box there. All tested live!!! so, WTH, I was stymied. The outlet over the couch is a pain in the butt to use because the cord dangles in the middle of the couch. Finally, I had my epiphany!!! One live, and one dead feed into the junction box under the dinette, so I coupled both line, neutral and ground wires to the live feed and now both outlets work. Yes, they are on the same circuit, but I don't care as I've never popped a breaker there.
Just my 2¢ worth.
Take care and belated Happy New Year to all.

Keep in mind when troubleshooting AC wiring issues that there may be an issue with the connections at the Splice Taps (see photo).

These are used in slide rooms to transition from solid household Romex wiring to flexible braided AC wiring inside a protective harness to facilitate the slide movement travel on both extension and retraction.

I wondered what those look like, as I figured something had to change from Romex somewhere. Not sure where they are, but now I know what to look for

Thanks,

Randy

I had the exact same issue with my 2015 Fleetwood Bounder 34T. I traced all wiring from the fuse box to the slide and found the splice tap junction box was broken (located in the upper left corner of my slide) breaking the circuit to my 2 outlets overhead on the slide. I was able to remove the broken splice tap and rewire using wire nuts and black tape for extra safety. I have been using for over 2 years now without any further issues. I hope this helps you best of luck.
