Bounder 2014 35k in Florida starting problem

I noticed my tank lights, black, fresh water, propane light board very dim and not brightly lit.
I decided to start my engine ( as I do when the unit sits for any length of time)
It wouldn’t start.
I used the deep cycle 6 volt battery switch ( just pushed not held down) and my tank board all of the sudden worked.
My engine started.
Inverter on
So what gives? Any thoughts?
Batteries less than a year old and filled and in good condition.
Thanks

Could be ground issues -- have you checked the voltage of your coach battery - before and after charging ? The house batteries helped your coach battery to start your engine -- a trickle charger would eliminate these problems going forward.

Pushing the boost button may have made a dirty and poor connection burn thru the corrosion of the chassis battery positive post.

Take them off and clean them with a wire brush until the shine otherwise it could happen again.

Am I not to assume being plugged in?

Am I not to assume that being plugged into a 50 amp service is keeping the 6v batteries topped off?
Thanks

Fleetwood does use a system in the BCC that charges your House and Chassis batteries while plugged in. The voltage while plugged in should be about 13.6 volts in both sets of batteries.
