Hi, we have a 2019 Bounder 35P and would sure love to be able to easily find and communicate with other 35P owners of any year. Hopefully having this thread will help.

So welcome and let's exchange some info that may be exclusive just to those that own this model.

We'd like to replace the toilet with a grown up version. The one that Fleetwood provided is more suited to a daycare for children. Has anyone done this yet, and does an adult sized toilet fit okay in the bathroom?

Another thing we'd like to do is to turn the toilet; angle it so it's not as if it was parallel parked next to the wall. Any thoughts on this from other 35P owners?

Hopefully your 35P group continues to grow. Ours is currently on route from the factory so we are happy to join.

Can’t answer your toilet question, but will be interested in responses. The toilet and the hidden TP Roll were probably our only dislikes when we walked through a show model of the unit.

Have not seen any action here so I thought I would add 35P Mod to refresh the group. I added two items in the cabinet behind the TV. I put in a digital safe and then mounted my Dyson vacuum on top of it. This is a great location, out of site and out of mind. Originally had the Dyson in the cupboard but lost way to much hanging space.

We found that we needed more space for chips, bread, utensils, etc., so we bought a small free-standing rack and put it in front of the breaker entry door. Then, I hung the small vac between that and the trash can. It's worked out fine and we haven't crashed into it even once!

Our kitchen mods included removable drawers in the pantry and custom shelves under the sink...

I like the rack... We went with a similar trash can, only double wide with a recycle side and then the Dogs bowl goes where your rack is.

Hello, after about 8 months or so, we are back on the forum. A lot has happened that has kept us away. Husband had a heart attack (he is ok now), we sold the business that we owned and operated, we retired, and we moved. Whew....!

So hopefully we are back to where we can participate here on the forum. We are at a point where we are going to plan a trip for June to Montana from the Sacramento area of California. It will really be our maiden voyage in the 35P. Before we leave, we are installing sway bars on the front and rear. Our carburetor never worked on the generator, Fleetwood, the dealer, and Onan all refused to cover it as warranty work as they said it was 'bad gas' even though it came straight from the dealer like that. (We have some choice words about that). So we are fixing that ourselves before the trip in June.

Still haven't figured out if we want to travel up I-80 to Reno and take 93 at Wells, NV and follow that to Missoula, MT.

Or maybe go up I-5, cut over to 97 at Weed and go up to Bend, OR and around to Coeur d Alene. ID to Missoula, MT.

Time is not an issue. We were trying to avoid the more strenuous grades, and maybe see some pretty country also. Any thoughts?

Well, first of all, I'm glad you're back to health! Second, congrats on retirement!!!

I wish I could help you on your travels but those are roads that I've not seen, yet. Seriously, though, it doesn't matter. As you said, time is not an issue. If the road gets really tough, you slow down. If the view is really great, you stop to enjoy it. You don't have to get to "Point B" by "check-in time". Unless there are roads that you simply shouldn't do in a 37' rig, you'll be fine and you'll love it!

Has anyone in the group managed to find the ground on their rig. I am having some 12v electrical issues and am hoping cleaning up the ground might solve the issues. I assume there is a ground connected to the frame somewhere, just no idea where to find it.

That IS weird. Our furnace is going in for repair in August to the REV Tech Center in Indiana. If you leave it on for more than 15 minutes, the furnace itself will stop burning but the fan will keep blowing. At that point, there is no way to shut it down. You can press the PCI panel until your fingers come off but the only way to shut it down is to kill the aux battery disconnect switch by the door. Then, the PCI panel will reboot and everything works again. Multitude of other fixes as well, while we're down there.

2 different issues. The heat pump is 120v and the furnace is 12v.
I have a 35K so no help to you where mine is.
The 12v ground would be followed from the house batteries negative terminal to the frame of the RV.
The 120v has a neutral bus bar in the breaker panel and then goes to the transfer switch.
If you don't KNOW electrical systems I highly recommend you get a qualified person to troubleshoot. A few wrong things done can easily get you killed.
