Bounder 38V Full Wall Slide Motors Needed

I purchased a 2007 38V Fleetwood Diesel Bounder New back in 06. I have never had a problem with my full wall slide but recently broke the Power Gear on the small bedroom slide. Easy do it your self project which I did but it left me concerned about the full wall slide. I am a spare parts guy so I thought I better travel with a spare motor which is PN 524120. I have done endless searches without success but I did find one cross reference that said it was replaced with a 1010000803. I called both Lippert (formerly Power Gear) and Fleetwood (formerly Fleetwood) and both told me that both slide motors were discontinued and there is no replacement. No motor, no help and we're really sorry.

There are hundreds, possibly thousands of Fleetwood Pace Arrows, Bounders, Providence, Expeditions and Discovery's with the same full wall slide system probably 2005 to 2010+ using the same Power Gear slides on this full wall and they are all obsolete with no replacements. These 3 motor systems are synchronized with on board computers programmed with stop and returned points and wall locks. This is a serious problem for a lot Fleetwood owners with the unknown lurking but with no answers. I am disillusioned with Fleetwood who tells me they no longer support the products because they have had new owners since 2010.

It takes 3 people to manually override by turning 3- 3/4" bolt heads 1/8" turn in sync and I don't think it can be done in the field. Fleetwood owners you may have to just walk away from your investment and I guess trash heap your motorhome. Better think twice before you spend 180k like I did and not have support. Any ideas out there? Before you tell me ebay this is a 3 motor sychcronized system and not a 2 wire. It's 2 power and 4 wire back to the computer I'm guessing from each motor.

Anything is possible I guess but my last motor failure was a gearbox on the motor. I'll get parts somewhere somehow but it leaves me concerned about parts in the future for me and others. This a very widely used motor part number and Power gear now lippert just discontinued it. Anyone Gearbox 524120?

I've located a salvage motor not yet received but it fits the description and is a look alike with the external encoder which makes it a computer synchronized motor. Power Gear was bought out by Lippert who discontinued my motor and any replacement so salvage may be the only answer but Lippert does not make these motors. They are made by Klauber Machine and Gear and the computer is made by American Controls. Lippert is just a re seller as it turns out. These are important names to remember. My full wall isn't broken I'm just being proactive knowing how difficult it will be to find parts. Fleetwood has been very helpful over the years but fails completely on my full wall slide as did Lippert. No motors, no replacements. With a little more work I believe Klauner would be able to help. I did learn from them as long as it it looked the same, mounted the same, same 6 wire it would work even if the torque and rpm may be different because the computer will sync the motors. Good luck.

Part# 101000803

I have the motor you are looking for. It does not include the sensor that attached to motor. Contact me @ hdsechols@yahoo.com. I ran into a similar problem and am still struggling with a viable solution. Good luck
