Bounder Ceiling LED Lights

Many late model Bounder owners wind up looking for replacements, as the ceiling lights start going dim, and then eventually do not light at all. I contacted the manufacturer, ITC-RV, for price and availability on Part # 69231BLS-3K-W/A. They responded with a price of $19.00 each, but stated that the W/A was a notation of the connector put on by Fleetwood. No big deal, as I could just remove the Molex Style connector from the old light.

I decided to check parts.revgroup.com, and found the lights for $11.99 each, including connector. I ordered enough to have a spare.

User Hint: If on the road and annoyed by a failing light, swap it with one that is less used. I swapped with lights above the drop down bed.

UPDATE

I received the lights on Friday and went to the coach yesterday to install. Not one of the lights worked. Needless to say, disappointed in the outcome. After returning to the house I decided to do a little research. When reviewing the part on Rev Group I noticed a footnote in small print that stated the part may be reverse wired. As Fleetwood installs the Amphenal connector on these parts, it sounded plausible. Sure enough, all four were reverse wired. All lights working now.

Footnote:

It turns out that the wiring was to support a change made in 2018. My coach is a 2016. Depending on the year of your coach, the lights may work just fine for your application.
