Bounder classic ONE low beam out
Tried to search a bit but didn't find much.
Bounder classic 36h 2014. I've only driven once or twice at night and wondered why the lights were so dark. High beams were great so I was going to replace the low beams. Got it home the other night in the dark and saw one low beam out.
Put a new bulb in and still nothing. Passenger side no problem, driver's side nada. Connection looks fine. Is that all I can look at? Wiring and connection??
Thanks

Glad to have you join us here in the forums .
Sorry your first post is about issues .
Headlight wiring , possible fuses and relays , are part of the chassis manufacturers package ; that's supplied to the coach builder , so always best to include the chassis manufacturer in your questions.
Do you have a voltmeter or a 12 volt test light ?

Thanks Skip. It is a Ford F53 chassis. I have a volt meter and test light. I'm getting 12v to the bright lights on the drivers side. Nothing to the low beam. I am going to try and call the ford hotline this week.

It's a little new to have ground issues from corrosion but I would ensure it has a good ground in any case. Easy to check and generally cheap to fix.

See if they will forward you a complete wiring diagram and schematic diagram; that info will allow you to track the power flow ; or lack of to potential problem area , on my F/L chassis each headlight has a relay , when the relay is powered up that's high beam , no power to relay low beam .
Fleetwood probably made the front and rear cap wiring , and Ford's wiring ends at the frame , so until you have diagrams / schematics , start following the wiring from the headlight looking for a connection .

On the F53 there's a fuse for the left low beam, and for the right. Location is in your owner's manual. No relays that could only affect one side. Just DRL relays that affect both.
I'd check the fuses.

I wish my owners manual had a fuse chart but it does not. I don't know why they don't have it on the back of the cover from the dash box either. I pulled every fuse in that dash fuse panel looking for some interior lights a few weeks ago only to finally find the right panel hidden in the pantry. If anyone has a chart for the days fuse panel that would be super. Otherwise I'll get a hold of ford for some diagrams.
Grounds looked super clean yesterday.

2014 F53 owner's manual page 69.
Fuses #25 and #31 in the (Ford) passenger compartment fuse block.

Mission accomplished. I may or may not have moved the 10amp fuse from 31 to 30 when I was looking for the rear lighting problem a few weeks ago. 30 is unused, 31 was the drivers low beam. New sylvania ultras are both shining now. Thanks all!
