Bounder question?????

Hello, I am considering a Bounder 2009, diesel. They are asking 119,000.00 and it has 15,000 miles. Is this a fair price?

If it's not junked out, rotting in places, delaminating, and the tires aren't about to explode.

I know on a new coach they will come down 20 to 30 %, about how much do they come down on a used coach?

Have you checked comparables ? The dealer has , I'm sure. You need to have this ammunition to negotiate. There isn't any set % that they will discount a used or new RV. Start low and be prepared to walk if they won't negotiate. It's a buyers market. It all depends on what they have in it and how much its costing them to keep it on their lot.

Thanks so much. Anything specific I should be looking for? I was going to ask if they had the records of any work done.

Records are great if they have them. Ask for the previous owners phone #. Sometimes you can get it. I would have an rv tech go over the whole thing if you get together on price.
Good luck and a premature welcome to the FW Owners Forum.

Hi,
You could also check the NADA book for motorhomes or the Blue Book and see what price they offer with what options.

I know that there has been a used one for sale for a couple of years now and they were asking 140K with 6300 miles. I suggest that you search out all of the 2009's and then I would push for a lower price. BTW, I have a 2009 Bounder diesel, bought it new, leftover, and I have had no real problems with it.
