brake controller

can anyone tell me if a 2017 35k bounder is pre wired for a brake controller

thanks Im getting conflicting answers. So yes I called Fleetwood they said hold on. They don't think they are. I would think they would be, i mean if you tow something most likely will need brakes.

Assuming Fleetwood did not modify it, the 2017 Ford F-53 chassis is wired for an electric brake controller. If you have a 2016 chassis, the wiring is the same.

thank you taking it in tomorrow to get it installed let you know what they say.. I agree with you, when I called fleetwood they said they were not putting the wiring on the ford chasy anymore. I question that answer since he didn't really sound like he knew.

And the answer is "YES" they are wired for the brake controller. Ok why would I call fleetwood anymore. They had the wrong answer lol they said no its not. From now on I'm just asking y'all. lol

oh by the way thank you everyone that helped. Took the guy 15 minutes to install it . Nice

You MAY have talked to someone from Fleetwood. More than likely you talked to someone sitting behind a computer screen in a call center somewhere.
You asked a question with a multiple choice answer. You got the wrong answer. Just for fun, call the number back and ask again. We will be waiting for the result.
