Cannot get dual paned windows on Excursion 33A?

Hi,
I have been researching the Excursion 33A and really like it. It would appear to only come with single pane tinted windows, with no dual pane option.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks

Here's a link to the brochure which confirms single pane.

Thanks, saw that in the brochure too. Also confirmed with a dealer that the one on his lot was single pane.
Very surprised it would not be an option, as appears to be the case on other coaches - available as either standard or option.

May be a deal breaker on this coach?

There's only one thing left to do. Call FW. When I bought mine there was a list of special options that weren't in the brochure. 800-322-8216

I saw another post this AM, discussing the dual pane windows on the 33A. OP stated they had ordered or were going to order the dual's as an option. As Cliff suggested, FW customer relations will be more than happy to answer your questions. Good luck, DW and I think this coach is a winner, certainly at its price point!

So, have they fixed the dual pane fogging issue?

Probably? There were many manufactures that offered inferior products to multiple manufactures in the industry. Technology moves forward not in reverse IMHO ! Time will tell!

NO,NO,NO; The window problems persist for most RV Mfrs. The window mfrs. still use that cheap spacer. The solution would be to use Peninsula or one of the other high end window mfrs. I am disappointed that FW has cheapened some of the lines. The Bounder Diesels use a 2000 or maybe it is a 2500 Tranny. The Excursion is probably the only unit in it's class with single pane windows. FW was always a mfr. that gave you good value. I guess things are changing.

You might want to look at the Thor Palazzo.

I totally agree with Moisheh. I have owned 2 new FW motor homes. But because of their poor customer relations with not fixing my fogged windows and until then, I will never buy a Fleetwood again. I have a lot of people tell me what a beautiful coach I have until it comes to the windows. I always tell them if you don't want to look out the windows, purchase a FW. Am I Mad ? YES, mad as Hell !!!!

I don't know of any MH mfg that warrants windows after the initial warranty on the RV expires. This is an industry wide problem and not a FW problem.

I would also prefer single pane windows. I know other manufactures have gone that way because the persistent issues with the double pain windows. In fact, I once had a senior RV tech tell me the R factor on those double pain windows is not very high. i would think you could use a good quality tint on single pane windows and get similar results without the fogging problems.
