Carpet Replacement

I have a 2006 Terra LX 34N and interested in replacing the carpet.
Has anyone had experience with removing and installing under the two sides (bedroom/main area)? I am considering using an engineered hardwood as the replacement.
Any other obstacles that I am not aware of?
thanks..

I replaced mine on a super c I had however we simply replaced the original with a higher quality. There is a member here on the site that is an expert at installing hard flooring and has all the info as far as clearance for slides and all. I cant remember his handle but perhaps someone else can chime in. I believe he does it for a living or at least a sideline.

I am replacing the carpet in the bedroom with the matching vinyl tile.
Will also be replacing the carpet on the slide with a product known as luxury woven vinyl. This should allow the product to overhang the slide to cover the gap when the slide is out.

I see two obstacles, your 2 slides. Nothing worse than laying a new floor then finding out the day you decide to hit the road you can't get you slides in. I have seen it happen more than once out here.
Keep us posted.
