Cat engine

I am looking at a 07 Motorhome with a 400 cat. How reliable is this engine? I have heard some stories about the cat engines. Should I be worried?
Thx in advance
Brian

CAT was our pick, for an engine, as well.
You can always find a horror story somewhere, about any of them.
However, you might find having the 06 engine, will serve you better.
Calling CAT with the eng serial, will verify, if you can't find the date of manuf. anywhere.
