Do I dare ask what radio your using ?

I put a Galaxy 959 in ours, tapped into a hot line right from the cigarette lighter in the dash and have zero noise. Ours is older it's a 2000, when the keys on and the ABS pump or what ever is making its noise, I thought for sure I would see it in the radio but I don't.

Not sure how the CB is wired but could it have anything to do with the switch that you can change between house and coach batteries. I know on my previous Bounder on the dash was a toggle switch with a music 🎵 note symbol that you could move radio and CD power from ignition and house.

Just a thought. Good luck.

It's a COBRA 29 WX NW ST that I've had sitting in a box for years. That's interesting that you had no noise hooked up to the cig lighter. I figured running it straight to the battery was the best option, but that's good to know. The radio draws less than 5 amps so it would work fine attached to the cig lighter. Maybe they have that line filtered? hmmm

Thanks!
