Lots of coaches use PowerGear jacks, so I'm adding a shortcut in the Motorhome Problems & Solutions area to solicit input from other brand owners as well.

The fluid does not have to be changed unless it is contaminated.

My manual says change every 18 or 36 months, manual is in coach in storage. But there is a interval for change and the amount was around a gallon. From memory drain tank fill to overflow, cycle jacks, check fill level. Will change mine as soon as the weather warms.

Nonsensical! Fluid change required every 2 years as per PowerGear. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
My error. My reply was for HWH systems. I now see the poster has Power Gear hydraulics.
