Depends.. If you have 12 volt you can do one a day.

If you have six volt you can do them that way.. but do one and then immed do the other.. Do not wait.

Even with 12 volts doing one and then another right away is the best way.

Now.. as to the dangers.. Fully charge the batteries IN THE RV using the on board charger.

Also fully charge the new battery with a smart charger if it was not on a maintainer at the store.

That way you minimize differences in state of charge when you swap 'em out.
