Chassis Battery Draw Down

Our 2017 Discovery is setting in storage and plugged into 50 Amp shore power. The chassis batteries appear to be slowly losing voltage—about 0.1 volts every couple of days.

The inverter is in “float” charge mode and is holding the house battery bank at 12.6 volts. But my two chassis batteries are now down to 11.8 volts. I can disconnect the batteries using the disconnect switch, but I’d like to troubleshoot the issue and find out what is drawing it down.

I’m looking for tips on how to troubleshoot the problem.

I should also state that these are new AGM batteries.

Thanks in advance,

Rod

Chassis Battery Draw Down

Install an Amp L Start. Look in Motor Home General Discussion & Problems elsewhere on this site to see actual pictures.
