Coburg Service Center

Anyone else gonna be in the coburg REV facility for the first week in October? How is it compared to the Decatur location?

We will be at the Coburg REV facility the first week in October. This will be our 3rd visit this year. We have also been to the Decatur location once.

As far as having repairs done, our experience was that they are both equally good. Coburg has about 15 spaces with electric and water at the site and a dump station in the parking lot. Decatur has 40+ new electric only sites. Water and dump station are down the street. Coburg has a small waiting area with some couches, tables, small kitchen area, and a TV. Decatur built a new facility with a huge waiting area, with lots of sofas and TV, an outside patio area, kitchen area, and a laundry area. Upon check in you receive a keycard that gives you 24 hour access to the rest rooms and laundry facilities.

If I wasn't so much closer to Coburg, I would go to Decatur for the customer facilities.

We have done both. Decatur is top drawer but the Coburg people are great.

Question for those who have recently visited Decatur: With the new waiting area away from the service area, are we still permitted to remain with the coach and observe the repairs being made?

That is an enormous portion of my preference for going there. I know what has actually been done and feel much more confident in the repair...not to mention, learning how to do it should the repair be required again. Been there 4 times now.

For those who visit Coburg, are you permitted to be in the service area with your coach & watch your repairs?

Decatur....yes and no you can go back with and check on it etc, but they do ask you to wait in the very nice lounge area rather than in the work area...my experience was they weren’t too strict about it but my problem was a pretty severe issue...

Well we are here and the people are absolutely great so far....downside is communication from Decatur to Coburg....Decatur people failed to order, build and ship some furniture they are supposed to be installing so now it won’t happen here....but not Coburg‘s fault...I will also say it seems like they are faster and better at the small repairs here than at Decatur
