OBD 2 did not become standard until 1994.

I know that, it's OBD1. I'm wondering if there's a way,. Like Chrysler, to pull codes with ck engine light , or a way to pin the obd connector to work with OBD2 connector or is there an adapter?

On your 93 F53 chassis, the OBD I connector should be close to the radiator on the driver's side (left). Probably in a plastic wrap. No OBD II on Ford 460 engines.
Have you check the fuel filter on the left frame rail?
I would suggest that your hesitation could be a bad fuel pressure regulator or a bad fuel pump. Fuel pressure test port is on the right fuel rail, close to center. Pressure at idle should be about 32#. Fuel pressure, while driving at WOT, should be about 39#.

Go to big box auto parts store.. get ford obd1 code reader.. with book is your best bet.. last time I checked they were under 50.00 and the book that comes with it, is very important.. there is a way to short the connector but you will miss 90% of the diagnosis the code reader can give.. f450 is just a pickup truck with big frame.. ford did not do much different except for the frame.. so you have a f250 or f350 with big frame.. while there get a repair book for 93 f250 to f350 and it will be great source.. so a code reader for obd1 ford is what you need and with the book, there is a whole group of test the code reader does, that you just cannot get just by reading the check eng light alone.. good luck and let us know what you did
